nice man! I'm going into engineering too! I agree with the fact that a lot of other majors are way too easy/lame. I need 17 credits per semester to graduate in 4 years and business majors need 13.. wtf

oh man forreal. the engineering departments at my school all require at least 17 units per semester for graduate within 4 years, but that's just pure craziness, especially when you enter your upper division courses. the business majors at my school only need an average of 13-14 units to graduate. business, liberal arts, sociology, psychology, health science, communications, hospitality management (pfft, lame), occupational therapy, social work, humanties and the arts, social sciences are easy ass majors. i only have respect for engineering and science majors. engineering majors don't look too lightly on other majors, and we tend to make fun most of them, especially business majors. they're the backbone of our jokes. they only need 2 math classes, finite and statistics, but those classes are pretty much high school classes. my friend needed to take an extra class to take during the summer to get his money's worth, so he took a finite math class. since it's the summer, it turns out most of the students failed it and retook it. how sad can that be? my friend aced that class without any effort and the business majors were struggling their asses off. now, finite math isn't on the same level as pre-calculus. it just makes me glad that business graduates have a hard time finding jobs due to the saturation of business related jobs, plus their salary sucks. go ride in your crappy kia, while i ride in style in my nissan gt-r.

oh fark, i remember my freshman year. i wasted $500 each semester for the first year on textbooks alone. this was before i discovered sd. those bookstores are such ripoffs. ever since, i buy all my books online.

well i tried to buy as many books as i could online. I even emailed some teachers to find out what books I need since our book list doens't come out for a while. There are a few classes where the teacher is TBA tho so I can't really do much there. I didn't get to pick my classes this semester which is a weird thing about my college but every other sememster I can Big Grin.
