Yeah I have an ear infection in both ears. I can *hear* out of it. Just not well. It sounds like static. It popped 4 days ago and never popped again. i don't think I will hear out of it again. Sadwalk

Comfort you will hear out of that ear again. i was preparing myself when i had mine, that i'd be partially deaf in that one ear.

apparently it's rare to actually lose your hearing from an ear infection. i had read that when i was searching for info about ear infections back then.

keep trying to pop it. its the guck in your ear that is clogging it and wax is making it sticky. i was told to chew gum a lot. try that.
