This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.
All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

On another note, my almost 2 yr old DS doesn't listen AT ALL anymore or answer me when I call him EVER. Now, him running away from me in the store down an aisle is one thing, but he's taken to hiding from me in the clothes. I hate that. It is scary when I can't see him, even for a second. I am not too fast catching up with him either w/ a cart and baby carrier. Is it wrong to want to leash him?
M2cole so sorry about your ddad
To others w/ bdays Happy Bday too! Sorry for the stress and drama many of you are going thru. Happy Holidays! Barb
I did get the $11.99 SB kit..
It was just sitting there, I wasn't even looking for it. It was the only one. I did feel a tiny stitch of guilt when the front end guy said he needed to get one for his sister...but it didn't last long!
DIA-- Did you get that Flip yet? I saw they come in both 2 and 4gb? Crazy I have no clue LMAO
Just checking in for a few seconds during some down time. My sister and I had to make some really tough decisions yesterday, but I feel like we've done exactly what he would have wanted. We moved my Dad to hospice care today so the end is near for him, but at least he'll be comfortable. While we were driving over to his place to start going through some paperwork DH called to tell me that our inside fridge/freezer had died and that all the food in the freezer was already defrosted. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I can't even imagine how much $$ worth of food we lost. But... since he's there alone with 2 kids (one of which is a 2 week old) I can't really complain if he just throws it all out and doesn't try to save anything. His mom came over after work and watched the baby so he could go and buy a new fridge. I mean REALLY???
So, can I do:
2 shower cleaners
1 $1.50/2 TQ
2 $3/1 MQ
2 $5 gc TQs
$23.98 - $1.50 - $6 = $16.48 plus $10 GCs
Not really that good, huh?
I have been doing the other SB/windex deal.. buy 4 items and get a 5.00 GC. The spray cleaner is 2.54 and there are peelies for 2.00/2 on almost every can here

As far as the Flip - nope I have not gotten one yet - I tried and the cashier shot me down with my coupon that Mofo was super nice and sent to me and I have not yet figured out a good deal to try again. However - I will be trying before Christmas ... I think ... my plan was to use GC's for it - but now I will be routing a number of them for a much more worthy cause than my getting a Flip! LOL
I feel as if I also have a ton to do and don't get a chance to get to the store! BAH! So -------- you think I could get enough Target GC's to buy A LOT of valium and happy pills to crush up and put in my family's drinks this Christmas? My sis & fam are coming home to visit as this is the last year for her daughter in HS so prob the last chance for us all to do this as a fam and I am super excited ----- but she and our parents do not speak or get along ... last time they were together it was the day my Lil G was born and there was a screaming match which brought in nurses ... it was all very

Hey girl! Just reading the last page, I'll never catch up on all the drama but I can tell you what I got lilB. I think the Playschool Tonka Scoot 'n Scoop 3-in-1 Ride On would be perfect. It's in the 53569 family so there are MQs out there and there is the $20 TQ to combine with it! It is only $39.99 to start with. I was prepared for the TQ to beep but it didn't it just scanned right through. So did the $1 TQ for Glade Air from magazines, 8 of them, at the same store which was a regular T. The $1 Glade Air beeped for me at a ST later in the day. :dont know:
It says it is for ages 9 months to 3 years. It starts as a Push and Sort, then the back flips up to help learn to walk, ending as a ride on that scoops. lilB just turned 10 months and is walking along furniture and has taken a few steps here and there so I think he will like walking along with this.
I also got him the Playschool Busy Ball Popper and the Tonka Playschool Cushy Crusin School Bus.
Well that's his Christmas so far. Still looking for a few more things, his sisters are getting Nintendo DS, I hope, so maybe need to find a few things to add.
Oh those sound cute, must look for them.
SB: I got these flashcards at Barnes and Noble for my little one way back when. They are touch and feel and made of something similar to board books. We used these so much and he loved them. They teach simple words/colors. They are made by DK and called My First Words Touch and Feel Picture Cards.
I have since seen them randomly at Marshalls. But I have to say they were great.
Also, the small Parents toys at Target are usually good. We had the car keys, the iPOD and the blackberry type thing. All were great and he still has the iPOD and blackberry writting thing.
So is there a girl version of the Tonka ride on? I think there's a Playskool toy that changes from push to ride-on, right? But probably no toy catalog coupon for it, hm.. I've gotten rid of all the 12-month-appropriate toys since my 2 oldest are now 3 and 4, but now my youngest is turning 1 year in Dec., so I need to get her stocked with toys! So far, I have the Leapfrog Alphabet Pal, and the Playskool gear toy. Gotta get more toys!!! :l ol:
OK, I know there are a few other toy-crazy TCC posters out there. . .any more toy recs for a 9-15 month old?? Clueless first time mom here in need of help.
And maybe someone here knows. What does wood have to do with someone having their binder searched? :co nfused: Are they gonna beat the Hell out of someone with a bat because their binder was searched?
There is another ride on that I looked glanced at Target but with no Q I didn't look to closely or notice the family code but IIRC it was made by Playschool and had the same type of 3-in-1 features. It wasn't gender specific, kinda reminded me of a catepillarish shape. For $9 or or $14 (depending on the MQ you can find) I would say the ride on truck is not really gender specific either, girls can have lots of fun with trucks. We bought our DD a huge Lego Dump Truck that she could push and even sit in the back (we couldn't keep her out) and she loved that thing for years. We have always bought some trucks for our girls over the years. The oldest even had a hot wheel streak for a few years and she has a whole set of them with roads and everything.
But.....tomorrow, I am taking a road trip with my daughter and we are meeting up with a very special friend. So, tomorrow, it's all about family, friends, shopping and being in good spirits.: )

To further cement my reputation as a non-contributing movie-quoter:
"The last time I saw a mouth like that, it had a hook in it!"
I said in another thread..no matter how many skulls the manufactuer puts on them they still are not badass.....c'mon they are FOOTY PJs!!!
( said this to myself of course...not my son.)

Q alert!
In the latest Redbook there is a T coupon for $1 off any Revlon cosmetic and a Q for a free $25 gift card WYB one Braun shaver (Series 7 pulsonic clean & charge or series 5 clean & charge). These are probably $$$ but I thought a GC offer in a mag was worth noting.
