I have plenty of problems, but,
I am thankful for today. I have a family I adore and who love me. I have friends on slick deals and many other places. I have a chance to try to make others lives better. I have music for every mood i might want to support. I am happy for my dog and cat and especially for my wife who does so much for me. I am thankful for changing seasons and holidays full of joy. I am happy I still can go out in the world to see what's new, what's old, and the vitality of the world. I am happy that all of you share. I wish you all, especially Ana, the small joys of every day, and all your friends, and a little bit of happiness to make you smile.

Today, I was very thankful for the sunshine that warmed my back as I sat on the porch reading... it felt so good... especially when one is in pain so much it is special...
I was not appreciating my rooster who kept crowing and interrupting my reading thoughts...

I sent Mich some last year in our exchange cause I thought he would be braver than me and try it but he has never reported back what it was like...LOL!

Well, good nite all. A long day of gathering items from stores.

I wasted the better part of the day getting my paint sprayer back from the fix it place 45 minutes away! Yeah, that new Graco X7 that retails for $400... During it's second use, it failed. So, two (nice) Saturday mornings wasted dealing with that thing... At least I'm not the one stuck with the $100ish bill for it. A blown fuse.... Yeah, they foolishly integrated it into the circuit board.

Anyway, enjoy all.

i am thankful for being able to see that certain people do love me.

i know someone who is very closed off to seeing what other people see in him Down. it hurts me to know that he cant see it and is filled with so much hate and depression. i wish he could open his eyes and see the light.

I am thankful for many things. To list a few:

My son.
The closeness that my brother, sister and myself share.
My parents who are still alive and very important in my life.
My dog Bea who is teaching me more than I'm teaching her.
My job...just the fact that I have one.
My home.
The opportunities that I have had in life. Some more recently that I didn't so much as choose as I have gotten thrown into and learned that I really can do well.
Slickdeals, for money saved but much more importantly for the community here who, whether they like it or not, are my extended family.
The fact the I live in America. It may be going through some very difficult times but I do believe it's one of the best places on Earth.
Medical science that has helped me beat cancer twice.

I'm thankful for my ability to meet new people and maybe some good friends along the way.

I met some new folks yesterday that may make good friends.
I went to an old style movie theatre, complete with theatre organ, and saw the Wizard of Oz for $4.
After, one of my new friends invited me to the bar he manages. I was on the VIP list so I paid no cover and I paid very little for my three drinks (which were strong so that was my limit for the night). I had fun dancing and talking to new people.
I got some spot cleaning of the carpeting done yesterday and today will be major carpet cleaning.

I'm not so happy about returning to work, but it's a 3 day week and then I am off for another 11 days. woot

im thankful that most bad dreams arent reality....

however, my dreams last night of the guy i love going missing or being gone, may become a reality. Weeping im still heartbroken of him wanting to leave for the air force. i know he wants to do it for all the wrong reasons (like not caring about dying, feeling unloved here, not having the life he wants, etc).

i hurt inside soooo much Crying and the one thing i want when i feel down has been for him to just hold me while i cry.
