Comments about a deal belong in the thread, not in a SECOND thumbs up/down area. Users should not have to read two areas, nor should posters have to repeat their comments a second time.

Why the concern over tu/td? IMHO, clicking 5 or so common reasons would not improve the validity of the ratings. People who are being petty will just click away.
