A suggestion - cut down on the huge number of front page deals and only post the truly exceptional ones, like it used to be done back then.

How about increasing the thumbs-up threshold in order to get on the front page? Or only front paging the top X deals of the day. That way when people come on the main site, they won't see a huge...

I agree. I've seen some front page deals that never would have made it in past months. The standards seem to have been lowered but maybe this is just for the Christmas season?

The front page should be reserved for exceptional deals/slick deals. If you want good deals, then just go to the Hot Deals forum. There is way too much clutter on the front page now and diluting...
