Adding medium was a good choice I think. Some people like up close and personal. Other run and gun or fight from a distance. That should cater more to everyone I think. Everyone loves Nuketown, but...

There's no real problem with using large maps, so long as you pick a gametype that concentrates the action around a specific point, like Sabotage, Headquarters, or Demolition. If you try to play TDM...

Small: Firing Range, Nuketown
Medium: Crisis, Grid, Hanoi, Havana, Launch, Radiation, Summit, Villa
Large: Array, Cracked, Jungle, WMD

just fyi to all.....when I say "small and medium maps only" this means every single map is available so long as it's considered small or medium.
Teams get to choose which map they want to play on...

Either of the small maps are cool, or I would probably vote for Summit or Crisis for my medium choices. I do like Launch and Hanoi...but I also like a mixture of environments on maps too....hence...
