the over the air broadcast is 1080p or 1080i. i think cable is limited to 720p becasue of bandwidth limitiations.

This is all true, although DirecTV is only marginally better in this regard.
broadcast TV is only 720p or 1080i. AFAIK, there is no major network broadcasting in 1080p yet.

The PC has HD content but not as much and no 5.1. You can check out what's in HD on your PC from the drop-down categories menu though, that's something they need to add to the PS3 app.

Pretty sure broadcast only reaches 720p, and Comcast's HD is an degraded, artifacted 720p so that they can fit more channels into the same bandwidth, making you think you're getting more channels...

I don't think I'll subscribe to Netflix again until they get their online streaming library up to date with the latest movies. Or possibly upgrade the navigation a little to find them easily.
