Just received it, my only complaint so far is the mousepad area is pretty flimsy and I'm comparing it to my old dv5t.

I got mine in the past deal ($200 coupon). I received it yesterday, and so far so good... had windows reinstalled with minimal software, but it still has a few HP things. I'm planning on installing a...

I'm 99% sure that the Asus you're referring is refurbished. Could you link it?

I'm on the fence too. These laptops are pretty cheap right now, but I know they would be worth way less after sandy bridge. To wait, or not wait. That is the question! Well, how long is the wait is...

I would get a M11x. But I like that small form factor. Game play would be better and the back lite keyboard is a nice feature. Since you can OC to 1.7GHz... it is not as bad as you may think. But...

It is refurbished... sorry. And it's sold out :( I think I would prefer to find one that is 1920x1080 rather then 1600x900. I will find the link and give post it. Few minutes though

Ordered one. Thank you for the heads up, OP. I needed a laptop badly and this will be a perfect reasonably-priced supplement until I build a full Sandy Bridge desktop rig in April (once the...

LOL at the Asus always showing up in the HP threads. The Asus is HUGE, most laptop bags can't even hold it. It has a 1.5 hour battery life and costs $300-$400 MORE. Apples to Oranges.

Oh well. I already bought the M11x. Portability is most important for me.

I don't think Sandy Bridge would affect the m11x much. Its processor is already outdated by so many generations that one more won't even matter.
