I Have had this printer for at least a year. Use it as wifi and never once had a problem. Buy all my ink at swiftink.com. Very cheap and works great!

after folling the link in the OP then cliking "what's in the box" it says: "...Ink Tanks: PGI-220 Pigment Black CLI-221 (Cyan/Magenta/Yellow/Black)" I would say that it does come with ink....

Had this since summer... believe it comes with 'starter ink' which is like 1/3-1/2 full cartridges . I don't do a whole lot of printing and the ink low warning has been on for most of the cartridges...
