If you use the same bottle forever, I guess it's okay, but overall it's much much cheaper to use oil in a mister. You also don't have all of the additives in cooking spray which include propellants...

PAM makes olive oil spray as well for about $4 and comes with oil. Isn't it better? I don't use it often, so it lasts years. No need to refill.

I've had one for a year and it's great. I use it to mist olive oil on popcorn and salads. If you release pressure after use it should work fine for a long time.
