Played through the DLC with a friend last night. I definitely felt a bit stuck a few times. We made it through in about 2-3 hours, so it was a nice content boost. The storyline was pretty funny...

You can try it but I think mic-less coop would be miserable. Communication is definitely needed in the coop IMO.

hmmm bummer. i thought w/ the different features to mark portal spots for the other guy and countdown and such it wouldn't be so bad... certainly can't be miserabler than split-screen by myself...

I had a different understanding. I thought the Steam code is a one-use free pass for the PC/Mac version on Steam. You should be able to play online on PS3 WITHOUT redeeming the PC code on a Steam...

Steam code acts like an online pass too I think if you want to play coop online. There is a button you can press that gives up a mini pop up window of what your partner sees as well.

Finally beat coop last night. I didn't actually time myself but I would say I got at least 12 hours between single player and coop. Probably about 6 a piece. Worth the price of admission IMO.
