Quad core in a laptop at that clock rate is a joke. 95% of applications will be faster on an i3 since no more than 2 physical cores will be useful. Being a quad core will also mean somewhat reduced...

There are a lot of variables but in general you want the highest core clock you can get. In this case the 6 series. It really depends on your use though.
