hmm, you could try warhawk if on the ps3. the game is hella old, but it's still fun... it may not be everyone's cup of tea though, so best to check it out beforehand. it does have 4 player...

The Xmen Arcade game that was on sale a month back on XBLA...it is a good side scroll arcade game (like the more popular Turtles Arcade or The Simpsons Arcade) but it works for 6 people instead of 4....

Black Ops does 2 per xbox I lanned up to 6 xboxes for a tournament in our squadron. L4D/2 is always fun. Check out www.co-optimus.com they have lists of games that can be lanned together.

I thought of borderlands, but starting a new character seemed a turn off to me. We probably wont play any 1 game more then 3-4 hours, so we would barely break the surface on borderlands.
