Hmm, it's lukewarm. I think the problem is, why get a processor like this without a high end video card? Most use cases wouldn't make much sense.

Sorry to nitpik, but you didn't include a Blu-ray drive or an OS and you went with a i5-2500k rather than an i7-2600 or i7-2600k. Even though you clocked up the i5, it doesn't have hyperthreading...

This deal is still alive. I am inclined to go for a better video card instead of the Blu-ray and maybe some more ram. Doesn't seem like a bad deal considering the 24" monitor is worth about $200...

actually no the free xbox deal from dell only has preconfigured computers the 8300 with the "free xbox" is a i5 with no monitor configured the same with i7 and 24" monitor it's about $1548 almost...
