not a bad price. I got this for 650 (though only with 4GB of ram) from the fry's deal and its a solid laptop but nothing special like the high end lenovo laptops.

Really tempted by the $799 Sandy Bridge Lenovo... but the lack of USB 3 ports is a real downer. The external SATA sort of makes up for that... but I expect future USB 3 devices will be of interest.

checked hp today at fry's. I just hate the touch-pad so much , i wouldn't take it even if free. So much force required to click on bloody single piece touchpad plate left click.
