Not true. The H50 comes with brackets for Socket 1156 which is compatible with Socket 1156. You will have no problem installing this.

How did you mange to cool your CPU below ambient tempurature? The best any passive cooling can ever do is match ambient. By passive, I mean not phase change or thermoelectric.

Running an H70 on a i7 950 at 4.39ghz reliably with all benchies, Prime, etc. Solid set up. H50 is simila in construction. Recommend better and quieter fans though. Otherwise very solid and well made...
