If you want rechargeable batteries, I've had good luck with these. A little more pricey, but will last a few years and are great for remotes, wiimotes, cameras, etc... ...

These used to be cheap Energizers, but Rayovac makes these now. Fresh ones always test exactly the same as Rayovacs if I get these.

Shoprite has Rayovac 30 packs of AA or AAA this week at $3.99. I won't buy any of those because that's too much. $9.99 for a 36 pack is ludicrously expensive

I've not had great luck with Kirkland brand. These are great for slow drain devices. For kid's toys, Duracell are better. Kirkland work well for wiimotes, but I suggest rechargeable's if you can...

I agree, 10 bucks does not seem like a very good deal to me either. Shoprite has sales on batteries all the time at way less cost per battery.
