Welcome! But, why you need an optical cable? If you have HDMI, you don't need the adapter in this deal or an optical cable.

You only need this if you need to use HDMI cable for video but can't use the audio that's also passed over that HDMI cable, as in my previous post where I explained why I needed to use this adapter....
