It's well worth it... I'd pay more than that for the stock.
Shooting a mosin nagant with the original wood stock is like firing a 2 x 4 with a steel plate on the end.

I had a M44 and it sounded scary even with low grain training rounds. The carbines have a pretty bright muzzle flash during the daytime as well.

My main problem with these is my closest range doesn't allow FMJ ammo, and almost all the surplus ammo around is FMJ, not to mention corrosive.

I seriously doubt they had a dragunovs.. those are rare as hens teeth and go for $5K+ It was probably a Romanian PSL which is nothing like a dragunov except that it fires the same 7.62x54r round.
