It's not the router. You have to turn off WiFi protected setup. Go to Advanced/WiFi protected setup/Uncheck Enable.I went through months of calling tech support and even replaced the unit thinking it...

Changing the channel seems to stop it from "dying" as frequently for at least a short period of time. A day? Man, this router was like this when I bought it. I guess I should have returned it

it sounds like you have a dying router, so yes - but I don't quite understand why you need to change the channel, normally that's something you just set once and leave it alone
