It's not the router. You have to turn off WiFi protected setup. Go to Advanced/WiFi protected setup/Uncheck Enable.I went through months of calling tech support and even replaced the unit thinking it...

it sounds like you have a dying router, so yes - but I don't quite understand why you need to change the channel, normally that's something you just set once and leave it alone
