The sound is pretty bad, but we aren't using this as a main TV and the price was right so it is a keeper. Its not that it isn't loud, there is just no depth to it. There is no bass and the speakers...

Gave in and bought one. With the 10% difference it came to $254 so it ate some tax. The speakers did sound shitty and small in the store, but for this price, I can make do.

The speakers aren't awesome, but they aren't piss poor either. At 60% volume they are loud enough to fill a bedroom or den easily. I suspect most of the issues were when using it as a solitary set...

I have this tv for my bedroom. For $250 its great. I spent $320 on mine. Its a perfect bedroom tv. Picture quality is decent. Speakers arent great but arent bad at all. Ive had no issues with mine.
