There is an iPad app through the app store. I believe you have access to selected articles without being a subscriber, but you have to activate the subscriber content on your account profile online...

I don't think there's any extra content - The World in 20xx comes with this sub, but I believe the $12/12 deal will include that assuming you autorenew through its release (Dec-Jan, iirc).
