does it have regular usb 2.0 connectivity? I wasn't able to find out online, usb might also be the small one you use for cameras and that is not what I want wireless seems slow for scanning etc.

I bought 2 of these printers on 2 separate staples deals. They work great. Combine with Adobe acrobat and I can e-mail scanned PDF files instead of having to fax. Ink is ridiculously cheap on Amazon.
