In general, for these deals at Dell.com and HP.com, should I pay the extra money for three years of warranty through the manufacturer directly, or use a third-party provider like Squaretrade?

btw, the 2nd generation 17r laptops come with 2 3.0 USB ports, 1 sata\2.0 usb, and 1 2.0 usb port, (2 of the ports come with "anytime" usb charger") HDMI and VGA also if possible get a video card...

anyone know if this will overheat? my i7 laptop (720qm with 1.6ghz per core) constantly overheats and shuts off.. its fan is working fine and I even have a laptop cooling pad.. sooo not sure what...
