I am in the market for a gps but I'm passing on this as it looks like it doesn't have traffic. Looks like it supports traffic but it's an extra fee for some sort of traffic receiver? Is this correct?...

Everything looks cool if no lane assist is okay with buyers.

These are more reliable in general. My phone often times out looking up directions as it relies on the data connection. Also, if you are in a phone call that can be a problem, as many phones,...

Is this the new software or the old one? The old ones keep freezing and you have to keep pressing options and its slow. Any idea?

I don't think this model is good because it has no lane assist, but saying people don't need a GPS because 90% of phones have GPS is just plain ignorant. Be careful when you cite numbers. Statistics...

Because that is a false statement. It is not even close to 90% and there is a monthly fee for that phone GPS plan/usage.

The other question is if the screen is glass or that soft plastic like the older models. I have the 765 which is a great GPS with traffic, lane assist, spoken road names, but the touch screen blows....

Post #41250166 added 07-24-2011 9:32 PM by galarao in Archived Deals
I dont get it, maybe because I have never bought a GPS, but why do people buy these when 90% of phones have GPS and turn by turn direction.
