for the dc33? Iv never seen it drop let me do some searching Its usually the dc24 and sometimes the dc25 that go on sale. So $320 seems to be the usual sale price from an authorized dealer....

From the bit of research i have done, the dc33 has better suction. also, some people just dont like the ball.

Jeez, since when did vacuum cleaners get so expensive? I remember my mom having a $100 vacuum and it did its job, albeit loudly. Suction technology hasn't improved that greatly over the years.
