yeah I always thought plywood was the way to go. Holes in the plywood would be better than nothing at least. I had an old school wood bed frame, so I just added extra slats to make it work.

I agree 2" of 3.0lb memory foam is not that great at all, the other 6" is just normal foam. From what I have learned the 5lb memory foam will last for years but this 3lb stuff can wear out in under a...

FYI, DO NOT use this on top of an existing bed. It feels like a trampoline. On its own frame and box it is both firm and soft (once you lay still, heat it up and sink in). This is NOT a cheapo memory...
