Every drive will fail. I have a G4 tower mac that has the same 20gb hard drive in it from when i bought it 10 years ago. maybe it will fail in 15 years maybe 20 but it will happen.

I just ordered this using the $25 off $75 coupon (I didn't bother with the phone) and the price OTD came out to $112.60 for me. This was very timely since I needed more space for my music collection.

Why do people even post this? Have you ever read a computer magazine in your life? People said the same about 20MB HDD's when they were a thousand dollars, because they couldn't conceive of filling...

What you said is correct, but you can share knowledge in a way that is more constructive to the community. I would rather have a few inaccurate posts that cause discussion than no posts at all. Why...

forgetting the illegal stuff as it was too funny for me to comment on, but more directed to the beginning comments. If there was not already 22.00$ knocked off of the drive, then i bet this deal...

why does everyone say coupons are illegal? any proof? staples would shut it down if they were, yet they have accepted them for years. Stop whining and spreading false rumors.

im so sick of these staples posts with the $25 off coupon. You know what? If you buy a $25 off coupon then *anything* you buy at staples will be a good price. Paying for a coupon isnt a deal.

Do you have to call in to make sure they apply the $30 coupon first? It's not clear which coupon it applies first. If it applies the $22 coupon first, then the $30 off $150 will not work. I don't...

Not sure what you mean. If you want to back up your data, it should be duplicated on 2 different drives, so reformatting the 1tb would not help with that. Depending on how much space your wife will...
