Keep in mind getting the GG is just the start of the expenses. You will still need to get pads, compound, etc it will add up. You can definitely ruin the paint if you don't know what you are doing....

Personally I avoid AG. I dislike that they REALLY push that they match "anyones" price... but they _don't_. Read the print and you will see that they don't match ebay, Amazon or anyone's clearance...

this model already comes with the backing plate, so no need to get that. and you'll want to get 6.5" pads on this. the pad should be larger than the backing plate to avoid buffing the hard pad...

Based on my own experience, practically speaking. there's really not a whole heck of a lot of difference. They both do the same job well enough. But the price here makes it an easy choice.
