I have 20/15 vision (just checked) and I use a 1080p 32" TV as my monitor and see no issues with text blur from about 2' away. I'm baffled that some of say 1080 on a 27" is too low.

Text looks great on a 37" 1080p Westinghouse I have had for about 5 years too. People can sometimes be so amazingly anal......complaining about text sharpness on a 1080p 27"?

meh, weak resolution, especially for it's size. Picture won't look that good. Might as well buy a 1080p tv. I've had my 2 30" dell for 4 years now, can't beat those.

I have a ZR30W for work and a projector for games. I can tell you 1920x1080 at 92" looks anything by comical, so 27" should be fine.

Agreed, I run a 110" projection and the absolute min. is 10', though further is more comfortable. A 27" 1080 at the typical ~2' office viewing distance looks atrocious. While it's a good price it's...

tax is not a big issue here, but low resolution is a let down. no wonder HP got out of the hardware business, they don't have much good stuff. lol please post if anyone finds a 30" at 2560x1600...
