I'm looking for a good soft smaller type of backpack(not computer backpack) but big enough to hold some essentials(water bottle, Ipad2, digital slr with lenses, etc.) with a reasonable price or deal....

What you want is a "daypack" backpack. They are softer, weigh less, and don't have a ton of padding. They are also increasingly hard to find. :) If you can wait until the end of the month when school...
