Yes, they would work on a PS1, PS2, or PS3.
some of the greatest games ever made. this is years before squaresoft actually lost touch with how to make a proper RPG. such high quality games, compared to the garbage they release today.

I can't say for sure if it got fixed or not, I think I read that it did, but Chrono Cross used to have some pretty bad bugs and glitches when played on PS3. I could not progress past whatever undead...

He's misinformed. Ps one games will play on any ps3. Ps2 games fully compatible with the old 20 and 60 gb consoles and partially compatible with the 80gb that had 4 USB ports. any besides that will...

Chrono Cross has just been rated by the ESRB for release on PSN in NA, and will be cheaper and also play on the PSP in addition to the PS3. Chrono Cross and FF Origins coming to NA
Just need to figure out how to transfer my saves from my laptop over to my ps3 now.

Actually from what I've heard PS1 games do work on slim consoles. It's PS2 games that only work on the older models.
