if you want the camera from an authorized seller that has good customer service. I would rather buy from Amazon than ebay. But this is the cheapest I've seen the basic 18-55mm kit go for on Amazon....

It is rediculous. They rejected my rebate saying I peel the UPC code off instead of cutting it off. It is the original UPC. They are picking on the words. Beaware.

you could get it for as low as $755 on ebay. brand new, with kit from decent feedback sellers. seems like camera prices all coming down.

Yes.. You have to cut it.. Thats mentioned in the rebate form itself... Call them again and some CSR might help you asking to fax a copy of the camera/printer manual first page.. Try, nothing wrong...
