Yup. WD does a lot more than the Roku as far as file. Roku has more online channels to watch. I don't use online TV so I have no need for a Roku.

The WDTV Live series of players do NOT pass or decode DTS-HD MA sound. Instead, they play the lossy DTS core in such situations (which is usually still fine). They do, however, play Dolby True-HD.
