i normally only use tide with frebreeze HE and buy the large one but the coldwater HE fresh scent 6 pack seems like a great deal. 1 for one of those instead of the OP's. Both get reps though

I agree about the smell. If you use free and clear, using a softener defeats the whole purpose. Softeners leaves a fine residue on your clothes.
