I've used many LED wanna-bes, and these are the closest things to 60 watt incandescent bulbs - period. They also dim nicely in standard dimmers. Bright, all-around coverage. I use them in my foyer...

They'll work well oriented base down / light up on a table or desk lamp. Alternately they should work well in a ceiling fixture base up / light down. They'd start to fall apart on wall fixtures...

Wow, if they only worked in a fan. Beware, these are very yellow looking light. I would prefer maybe 3000 instead of the 2700. I have these in my kitchen and every photo looks horrible.
