these were just as cheap two weeks ago. I ordered the 8" yellow for either $10.99 or $11.99. Amazon raised the "retail" price to reflect this "discount".

They are $4.88 each and are not the ones that make the noise (I found those for $9.99 at JC Penney though). By the time I got to Big Lots all they had left were pigs and one red bird.

I don't think I got a deal but pigs are hard to find these days...paid full $35 on my 12" pig. But just by looking at the pig (at Hallmark) you can tell it is high quality. The stichings on the eyes...
