The good thing about Ad Muncher is that you decide which programs to filter. If you want AM to filter Chrome you just add it to the filter list, if you would rather use something else for Chrome...

Adblock/Flashblock is browser base. Ad muncher is computer base so will block all compatible browsers. Not every one just use FF only. I myself have 3 browsers installed so ad muncher is great....

adblock is good. it is based on a file but admuncher is based on code. it detects the code for ads. adblock you have to block a new ad's url and add it to the look up file. admuncher is the best...

This simply isn't true. I think Admuncher uses a proxy system, but both systems "detect the code" for ads using a blacklist. You do NOT have to manually add advertisements using Adblock or Adblock...

Not sure what the issue with your use of AM was but I have never had any resource problems. Did you have logging enabled? Sometimes that can cause AM to use more resources than having logging...
