It's pretty hard to fark up jumper cables. Give it a shot, but only while wearing rubber boots.

here are my two cents worth. make sure that the wires are COPPER and not aluminum. also make sure that they are thicker copper wires...im told that the skinny ones maynot make a good...

Ehh... jumper cables are one of those things you don't want to get at the dollar store. Like fire extinguishers and fire alarms.
