thanks that's what I thought. So I'd probably be better off with a little bigger than a 42" too then huh...considering that I wouldn't wanna be on the upper limit of the viewing distance either? lol

Picked one of these up at a Costco in Kirkland, WA. There were quite a few of these left--at least 8 or 9 on the floor. So far I'm pretty happy with the set--it works great in a bedroom.

don't forget you get the second year warranty FREE from Costco w/ this TV it would cost an extra $30 or so to extend it to 5 years. (Also if you didn't know you can buy the squaretrade warranty for...

The difference you are likely seeing is the frame interpolation when using "ProMotion", which is known to produce a soap opera like effect. It does smooth out the image, but it also tends to make...

That is Incorrect. You can disable that feature on all 120/240/600 hz televisions. It's frame interpolation.

I used to watch Band of Brothers on my Sony Bravia 52" XBR4 LCD with 60Hz and get tons of motion blur. If I watch it on my Sony 55" LED with 120 Hz (240 "Promotion, so it's supposedly actually 240),...

Honestly, you probably won't need to worry about since 100% of all shows, including sports, are only broadcasted at 60hz.
The only real need for 120hz is for 3D purposes. Otherwise, it's more...

Everyone always sings the praises of Vizio, I would never buy one. People don't realize they're one of the most returned brands of televisions (for things like this).
