Pretty sure Wii's can play Gamecube games. You'd need a GC controller of course. My Wii from 2006 can at least.

Also toys r us offers 20 gc on flingsmash which is 49.99 so toys r us 125 for wii 49.99 for game and second controller then recieve gc for 45 making it 130 for the equivalent of the best buy deal....
