I went through the $50 promo GC rigamarole. It took a call to first 'release' the gift cards (after placing the order online), then another call to sales to apply both the $300 GC and the $50 promo...

Is anti-glare coating a problem on this or is it exaggerated ? Does it dim colors ?

I have this monitor at work and totally love it. Matte Display, IPS, LED backlight makes it thin and elegant. Also has the 16:10 format.

How is this compare to U2410? Of course not the price, but feature and quality wise??
Post #46035418 added 12-15-2011 2:18 PM by slickslacker in Archived Deals
Oops, thanks! $238 for a U2412 is still SUPER SLICK! Craigslist is hardly work at all! But I'm actually thinking of keeping the camera anyway...

not glossy there either, really classy looking.

The stand on this is much better than you'll get with any < $200 monitor. Tilt, swivel, height, and pivot. It's heavy and has a hole for the cables to run through. This monitor actually looks...

It says $369.99 for just the monitor too. http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&cs=04&l=en&sku=320-2676

Where is the monitor $299? It's currently $370 at Dell, in which case here you get a free camera.

I hate dell.com tax. Does dell charge tax to every us state?

The response time isn't that great either :(

Decent price for and IPS panel if you sell the camera.

Is the bezel/frame glossy? I'll never understand this trend...

It depends on what you're looking for, and what you'll use it for. Are you doing graphical work, working with different color spaces, and need the most accurate color reproduction? The U2410 will...

Should I get this from dell or wait for amazon.com to get in the monitor in stock? Dell has 15% restocking fee and tax. Want a monitor badly but haven't seen this in person. I currently have...

If I had done the $300 GC and get $75 code I would probably jump on this.

$299 for just the monitor FYI- so unless the camera is worth it (and for some it is) it might be easier just getting the monitor by itself.

$20 cheaper this time than last time. I wish they had it for $270-280 without the camera.

This monitor is e-IPS and doesn't have wide color gamut (compared U2410).

I'd prefer to buy an U2410 on ebay instead. Brand new is around 399. This one is E-IPS with 6-bit+ARC panel and standard color gamut, much inferior comparing to the older brother U2410, which has a...

Good deal. Too bad this monitor doesn't have any HDMI ports but I am assuming that you can buy a displayport to hdmi adapter for it for $10 or so.

How's the quality of this monitor? I currently have the Dell 2209WA and would like something a little bigger.
Post #45895212 added 12-12-2011 11:07 AM by firebirdx01 in Archived Deals
Nm. That price went dead a 3 days ago. But Dell's notorious for having monthly sales- so I wouldn't be surprised if it popped up again at that price in a few weeks.

Is this deal dead? I would like to buy this. I need a good screen for photography ASAP; my NEC backlight just died.
