The Fuji F505 is about as good as it gets for a pocketable superzoom and the only one I can think of that has RAW capability For $170 I just ordered one

The P7000 isn't that old. It came out late 2010 IRRC. Anyway, its replacement, P7100, recently came out, which is why it's cheap now. At it's original $500 price point, the P7000 couldn't compete...
