It was actually on sale for $80 at Fry's on their 1 day sale, not $70. If you add in tax, it's only a few dollars cheaper than Amazon's price.

I kind of agree with you, but using rubber domes on the f and delete keys feels like a silly cost and unnecessary saving measure.
