If you have SATA3, for an extra $25 I would go for the Corsair Force GT deal given that it's 2x the transfer rate and synchronous flash. Rebates are a PITA, but I have had no problems with Corsair.

There is no difference. Any slow hard drive can play a 24gb mkv bluray rip in real time. Doesnt need to be fast reading 24GB in 1.5-2hrs.
