Yep - my Logitech MK300 keyboard/mouse set have been going for 18 months easy without a battery change. Very reliable and the range meets my needs.

Logitech all the way! Under $20 at Walmart, works flawlessly for months. Requires 1 AA when it dies, and did I mention it's pink!

Agreed, can't go wrong with any Logitech mice. Though they claim how many month of use, it really come down to your usage.
Generally 12 month+ is the norm

Logitech, I get great life out of them. Usually 12 month +, casual everyday use. All the models I have also have on/off switches + sleep modes.
