Can't help with specfics but this should be in the settings probably something to do with disabling the trackpad if you are typing on the keyboard to prevent your wrist from making the mouse move. ...

There's probably a setting somewhere for the trackpad that prevents trackpad input or taping to click while your typing, and it doesn't immediately disengage.
