To unsubscribe from a conversation in Yahoo: 1.Hover your mouse over the Conversations tab. 2.Click the Options button at the top of the tab. 3.Click Unsubscribe from this conversation.

thanks for your help i went into internet explorer and was able to see it in yahoo mail he was trying to add me as a contact. firefox must have been blocking the pop up/flash it was really...

How do I get rid of this Yahoo notification message? It flashes constantly when i am in yahoo mail some spammer must have sent me a message and i can not find out where it is and delete it....

try. click mail, then top left options messenger options, privacy block all users not in my contact list

Just block him. I've never done it directly from the email account, but it's real easy to do using Yahoo Messenger. Takes 10 seconds.

i don't have yahoo messenger installed and i do not use it. sometimes once in a great while one of my friends will send me a message when i am in yahoo mail but other then that i do not use...

Well, if you can't find the way to get rid of it, then don't you think it would be worth installing Yahoo Messenger to block that idiot? You can remove it after, if you like.
