Sustained read/write is faster (IE copy/pasting movies) but the latency of finding random pieces are what really makes you notice the difference on an SSD. You will only get a benefit from Sata III...

I think the rebate form says 2 units per rebate with a max of 1 rebate per household. That tells me you could have bought two (maybe on the same receipt) and got the rebate.

Thank you. Is there a noticibly speed difference in performance between Sata 2 and Sata 3? I ask because the spec on the Intel 320 seems like a sata 2 spec.

Be careful with the rebate terms. This one says the billing address and rebate address have to match or the rebate will be rejected. Your scenario should be good because you'd be using your address...
